National Healthcare Decisions Day Next Week

20 plus KC area locations providing information on advance directives

April 16^th is the day to identify someone to speak for you when you can’t speak for yourself during a serious illness or at the end of life. In the Kansas City area more than 20 locations are planning public events to educate the public on this important issue.

This Saturday, April 9 at 6 pm Central KMBZ Radio (980 AM/98.1 FM) will focus on advance directives during “Health Talk,” an hour long interview/call-in program hosted by Lorell LaBoube. Guests include John Carney and Suzanne Morse of Crossroads Hospice and Samantha Shepherd of Shepherd Elder Law Group.
